2020 Begins with Hope

I just entered this fabric art in an exhibition called Ebb & Flow. The theme is representational of cycles of things, events, anything that goes out and comes back again. I thought Phoebe Dreaming met all the qualifications. Now I have to wait until March 16th to see if the judges think it qualifies or not. If she is accepted, Phoebe will be gone from our home for up to four years on tour. My husband is not pleased about that. But since the opening exhibition is in Houston, TX, we may have an excuse to visit relatives in the area we haven’t been able to see in many years.

So, 2020 has begun with a leap of hope: hope that my work will meet a high enough standard, hope that we can visit relatives we have missed, hope for new life to return. Hope in a positive future for us all.

Happily retired! Renewing my interests in music and art. Hoping to improve my skills in all creative areas.
