After getting the advice from the FRQ ladies, I launched into the home stretch for Foggy River today. I’ve finished quilting two of the five panels. I’m using silver thread that breaks frequently, even though I’m using a Top Stitch needle, adjusted the tension so the top is looser, and sewing VERY slowly. I don’t mind though. I was expecting this kind of difficulty.

I’m following the fabric design elements for the sky, and using wavy lines for the water. I’m using more silver close in to the Sun, and less further away. I’m hoping the effect will be pleasing.

Just three more to go!
