Foggy River Complete

Finished cutting, pressing and fusing the binding on the back.

A little wobbly on some edges, perhaps, but I’m pleased with the over all effect of my first effort using this technique.

I woke up with this poem in my head this morning. Now I just have to put it to music. Hmmmmm

Foggy River

By Sharon Eastvold, 3.10.2020

On the edge of a foggy river,

Can’t quite see the other side.

Thinking about mortality

And crossing the Great Divide.

In the distance there is music

Drifting through the fog.

The light is muted

And bejeweled in the bog.

On the edge of a foggy river,

Gradually the day will clear,

The music will find precision

When life’s last dance draws near.

The fog will lift.

The light will shine.

When it’s time to cross

That Foggy Divide.
