Two more to go for 20!

I’ve figured out a quick and easy pattern for DIY masks. I will make two more to complete my quota of twenty for our local Children Youth and Family Department. A volunteer from the Assistance League will come to collect them this Wednesday.

In the meantime, I’ll keep making them to give to neighbors and friends who need them.

17 done, two more to go!
Here’s a pattern to help you make your own. I forgot to mention that I use 1/4 inch elastic. I ordered some through Etsy. These are easy and quick once you have your supplies set up. Let’s keep everyone as protected as we can. These masks have pockets to hold an additional filter, or layer of fabric. These are not medical grade in any way . I do not make any health claims that these will keep you safe. But it is the best we can do for now. Let’s hope it is not a “Mission Impossible:” “This mission, should you decide to accept it……..”.
