I must do better than one post a month, but it’s been a real crazy two months: A September 8th storm caused our giant mulberry tree to drop a large branch on our patio privacy fence. Flawed roof drainage caused problems on our north wall. The insurance wouldn’t pay for what was needed on the roof, so we had to.
So the rest of September and October were busy with getting a new roof, removing the fallen tree branch, replacing the crushed fence, AND…selling our dear little place in Truth or Consequences, NM.
I have been keeping some artwork going during all this. Today’s the last day to vote for my latest entry for Spoonflower’s “Cozy Reading” challenge. I used photos of my husband’s books, (clearly he’s the intelectual of the two of us) and shelves I’d love to paint. I call it “His & Hers Library.”
Here’s hoping we get past Covid safely, and the election gives us hope for a brighter future.
