This kimono was inspired by the cliffs along the road from Albuquerque, NM to Durango, CO. There was a lone red tailed hawk soaring along the updrafts as we road along. The kimono is 100% cotton, fully lined, short sleeved with inside pockets. The red tailed hawk was thread painted then attached firmly to the outer material.
This kimono would make an excellent wardrobe accent for cool spring evening. Or, it could hang on a curtain rod as unique wall art. It measures 46 inches from the end of one sleeve to the other, or 23 inches from your spine to the end of the sleeve. It is 27 inches from the shoulder to the bottom.
The fabric has been machine washed, and the kimono machine washed on a gentle cycle once. Hand washing is recommended, if necessary.
